Mission Statement
Marketplace Chaplains USA exists to share God’s love through corporate chaplains in the workplace by an on-site Employee Care Program for our corporate client companies, both in the United States of America and abroad.
The Employee Care Program
Marketplace Chaplains USA Corporate Chaplain Employee Care

Marketplace Chaplains USA, the world's original and leading provider of chaplains to corporate America is a proactive and personalized Employee Care provider. Client companies are assigned a team of male, female, ethnically diverse chaplains who visit the work site regularly, and are available for crisis care, any needed help and confidential discussions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year nationwide. On behalf of company leaders, Chaplain Care Teams help meet the needs of employees and family members under an umbrella of compassion and concern.

Founded in Dallas, Texas, in 1984, Marketplace Chaplains USA has expanded every year for the past 20+ years, and now serves in 44 states and over 750 cities. Client companies with multiple locations are able to have chaplains available to employees at each of their sites. Marketplace Chaplains USA is the longest continuing provider of work place chaplain to corporate America today, as well as the largest. Over 2,400 chaplains serve from California to Massachusetts, providing personal care for over 500,000 employees and family members.

Our chaplains care for the most valuable assets of our corporate clients – employees and their families. Our specialized Employee Care Program produces many benefits for the client company, as chaplains build work site relationships, provide a wide range of chaplain team services for employees and give support to company leadership. Increased employee loyalty to the company and appreciation for company management, reduced employee absenteeism and turnover and increased productivity are just a few of the many benefits of the Employee Care Program that companies receive by establishing a “Partnership of Caring” with Marketplace Chaplains USA.

Professional Chaplain Selection, Training, and Support
Our Corporate Chaplains Care for Family Members as Well

The essence of the effectiveness of our Employee Care Program is professionally trained and experienced chaplains directly serving employees and their families of our corporate clients, initially in the United States of America and now in Mexico. We will soon be providing the same service in England. The selection, training and support of these chaplains are the highest priorities for Marketplace Chaplains USA.

We do not employ novices as chaplains. Each approved chaplain applicant brings extensive experience in caring for people. Each has a clear understanding of business and has significant work place experience. Every applicant undergoes criminal and financial background checks, along with extensive personal reference checks to verify character and personal history. Technical training, significant care-giving experience, mature and proven character are essential qualities in order for chaplains to provide exceptional service to the employees and families of our client companies.

In addition to their extensive experience and care-giving skills, newly hired chaplains receive specific orientation and training on the issues they face in the work place, including ethical and legal constraints in the business world and how to relate to company management. Training and guidelines to help employees resolve work place conflicts is also emphasized. Continuing education is provided to equip chaplains with additional skills and knowledge.

Each chaplain on a chaplain team is supported and supervised by a veteran in chaplaincy and administration. The chain of accountability is vital to our two decades of successfully caring for workers at work. Our chaplains also benefit from working with policies and procedures developed over our 20 year history of successfully caring for employees and families in companies of all types and sizes.
